Christmas in Cali .:2011 Style:. Part 1

Christmas Eve!
Upon arriving in California I realized my family is just as addicted to their iPhone's as me! So my Mom and I started joking that we were going to have a "Cell Phone Free Christmas Eve." And knowing me you know not just any 'ol bag or box would do to put these cell phones in so I made up this cute little contraption:

In case you are counting, that's: 2 Droids, 2 iPads, 7 iPhones and 5 "old school phones"

So after attempting to get everyone to let go of their electronics (ahm..Kris!) we continued on with our traditional Christmas Eve...

Which included the talent show:

I have no idea how this is the only picture I got of the Nativity (my favorite Christmas tradition)
I mean really, what is Christmas without a re-enactment of the Nativity?
And of course the "Big Man" made his special appearance!
It really was so nice of his to take the time to stop by on such a busy night...what a guy!

Funny Story: When it was time to go to bed I told London, "It's time to go to bed so Santa can come and bring you presents." She replied, "He already came and brought me squinkies." The sweet little thing thought him coming and bringing her one small pack of squinkies was Christmas. Boy what a surprise was she in for :)

After all those festivities ended it was time for all the gift exchanging, 3 rounds to be exact. A round of presents from Grandma and Grandpa, a round from the exchange from cousins and a final round of jammies from the parentals!
Christmas Eve was SO nice, just the way it should be! Lots of family, lots of food, lots of remembering the true meaning of Christmas and NO ELECTRONICS!
