It's day 11 since Allie's surgery and she is finally feeling better. I was beginning to think that with the tonsils and adenoids they took my sweet girl :). She hasn't had any sort of pain medicine for 3 or 4 days and is happy and smiley and most importantly NOT grouchy anymore!!!
When she had her surgery they put these "stickers" on to monitor her and she has become VERY attached to them, in fact she will NOT take them off, ugh!!! 11 days later they are still stickier than ever, (props to 3M for making such a sticky sticker!). She is afraid that if they get wet they will come off so bath time has been...a challenge since surgery.
She sure loves her "stickers" and loves to show them off!

Be careful. If you leave those electrode patches on too long she will have a rash under them. They are not the most forgiving thing.
I am glad she is feeling better, that is not a fun operation.

We went to Arctic Circle yesterday to play, there was a little girl there that looked like Al and Em was convinced it was her! She kept telling me "mom go talk to Allie" finally she went over and said "are you Allie" the little girl said "no but let's play" Thanks for introducing my kid to playplaces!
It's nice that Maya wasn't old enough to enjoy her 'stickers' as much as Allie. P.S. I LOVE your table you got at Down East. How'd you do it...50 bucks wow!!
So glad she is feeling better, what a hard thing for such a tiny person, at least she won't really remember it!

The hospital has these little wet wipe things that help remove the adhesive so it doesn't hurt. They used them on Herky as an infant and they were great. Might want to get a few before the big day. :)
