Allie's Surgery- 2.26.09

Coming out of anesthsia.
Allie went in for hopefully her last surgery on Thursday, they took out her tonsils and adenoids. Once again I was totally shocked at how well she did! I had prepared myself for the worst but she did awesome, even the nurses we amazed at her strength. She is most definitely in pain but is handling it well. Giving her her medicine has been the hardest part so far...she hates medicine.

I wanted to thank all of you that have brought/sent her gifts and cards and come to visit and called to see how she is doing. The days get pretty long so it's nice to have some company. Allie is blessed with some great friends and family that have flooded her with gifts and visits, Thanks Guys!

Her flowers and balloons Grandma and Grandpa sent!
Stamps from Grandma Susan and Grandpa Gary!

We did that with Shaylon too--NIGHTMARE! After a week of trying to get her to take the medicine I found out that Neil the pharmacist at Walgreens makes suckers with lidocaine in them. Lifesaver!
