We had a wonder full Christmas Eve, Christmas Morning and Christmas Afternoon. Our girls were showered with gifts, some of their most favorite are; the doll house, the pink shake and go race car, the medical kit, London't toothbrush, the Handy Manny Talkin' Tool Set, Ariel and Snow White dress up, Allie's pink Uggs, books, Minnie Mouse and her own dress up clothes, and the pink school bus.
London lOvEd every last bit of wrapping paper she could eat and Allie loved going from one toy to another all day. We spent Christmas Eve at my parents enjoing the company and companionship of family, eating delicious food and enjoying the Nativity showS. Christmas Morning was spent just us and my parents at their house marveling in my children's happiness and joy and indulging in a breakfast to good to put into words. Chistmas afternoon we spent at my sisters house opening yet more presents and eating even more.
I have loved every second of our Christmas and all that it entails but I am most grateful for the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I am grateful for his birth, his death, his life, his example. I hope and pray that each day we can remember him and the importance he is in our life each and every day not just at Christmas. This Christmas has been different for me because I have had overwhelming feelings of responsibility to be sure that my children understand what Christmas is really about, the birth of Jesus Christ! I know that in our family we have truly felt the "Spirit of Christ" this holiday season as we have read from the scriptures, gone over the Nativity many times and sang many primary Christmas carols.
We send our warmest Holiday Greetings and hope that you too have truly felt "The Spirit of Christ" this season.
