UGH!!!

Sometimes I really HATE farming season! We had tonight all planned, babysitter scheduled, party to go to and...BAM, oh too bad the grain is dry enough to farm. Lovely, thanks!!! So what will I be doing on my Friday night? Cancelling the babysitter, bathing 2 kids by myself, feeding 2 kids by myself and putting 2 kids to bed by myself! What will our friends be doing tonight? Partying!!!

Annie, sounds a little familiar...i feel your pain (minus one kid and not at the babysitter coming to my house part yet) but the doing things by yourself part due to a little something that comes once a year starting with an H...and trying to keep a positive attitude in the mean time

Actually, your friends called me to find where you were and said they were going to cancel the party. Does that help? Obviousley joking, but if it does help, farming season is a lot shorter than hunting season...going on right now...and will be for a while still.

Man, going out with our friends tonight was so fun!!! I am so glad we had a babysitter! Just kidding, it almost would have been just as fun sitting at home rather than dealing with 2 kids at a restaurant. Bryanna was a bit much...

We were doing the same thing then! I was bummed too that we didn't make it to the party. I guess every occupation has its pros and cons.

Your disneyland pictures are so cute. Makes me anxious to go.

I'm humming the song "Count your many blessings....." like I always do when I get annoyed about stuff. Just think....it was a few more precious moments you got to spend with those beautiful baby girls that so many people would absolutely die to have. ;) There is an end to harvest (thank goodness).

Oh man that stinks- I'm sure you and Jordan were both looking forward to a fun night out and sounds like you both ended up having a busy night of work instead.

Looks like you had a great time in California! I really wish I could of come down for a few days! Dylan is dying to do Disneyland...one day we'll make it.
