Rexburg!

So Thursday we went to Rexburg for London's 2 Month Well Baby check and then met some friends at the spray park and then headed to Wal Mart for some errands. Allie usually LOVES the spray park and is so daring but she was such a little stinker this time. She wouldn't run through the water like usual and wined to ride the carousel the whole time. I finally did give in and let her ride the carousel which, she loved but just kept wanting to ride it over and over. Being the tight wad that I am I only let her ride it once. I couldn't keep paying for her to ride it over and over when we are going to be at Disneyland in September and she can ride it 500 times if she wants!
Okay, here's my funny Wal Mart story, you have to try and picture this as I am describing it to you. Keep in mind that London had just gotten shots the morning of this story.
So we are at Wal Mart all is going well, London is asleep in her car seat clipped into the cart and Allie is riding in the big part of the cart.
London wakes up and is hungry and needing some Tylenol. I pull over to a bench and start feeding her while Allie so patiently stayed in the cart. I finish feeding London and look down and see that my other chi chi has totally leaked, I mean like the whole right side of my shirt, GREAT!!!
So I try to strategically place London's blanket draped over my right side while pushing the cart, this is so not working at this point. London starts to get pretty mad and I am having a case of the guilt's for letting those mean nurses give her shots so at this point I pick her up and am carrying her on my left hip, have the blanket draped over my right side and am trying to push a cart with little Ms. Chatter Box in it.
I finally give up on my shopping and start to make my way up to the check out. As I am on my way up to the check out I get lots of "sympathy glances" from Mom's who have been there and done that. Then I start getting "sympathy glances" with little giggles. As I finally get up to the check out I look around the cart to see Allie standing there in her diaper, perfect!!!
I surprisingly held my composure well and was able to leave the store with both my children and still some patience to spare, that's always an accomplishment!

I'm totally laughing right now. I had a similar crazy WalMart experience yesterday involving a breastpump and a stranger and my favorite brown shirt. :)

The only thing that could make this story better is a photo to go along. HA!

ahh, the leaks! thats so funny, I love how Allie topped it off by taking her clothes off! (Dylan surprised me once at the park- he went up the slide fully dressed and came down naked!) Hope you made it out of the store with what you needed!

When Kris was a newborn we had to go to a funeral, Dad's boss!Obviously that's not the place to take a baby so I thought if I fed him right before we left I'd be safe until we got home. I remember walking back to the car from the funeral and looking down at my black blouse with two BIG round wet spots right in front of each boob...nobody said anything but it was impossible not to notice. Oh well, the joys of motherhood. It's all worth it!

too bad we didn't make to that place. I hate when you need to shop and nothing goes your way. good for you for having patience and at least you have lots of milk to feed that cute girl!
