More Pix of our new love..

So the last post had no info. so I though I would sit down while I have a few minutes to inform everyone on what has been happening in our lives this last week. I'm sorry if most of you have heard all of this but it is more for my own personal journal. Last Saturday at 4:30 pm I started having what I thought were strong braxton hicks contractions. As time passed they were becoming more regular and little more intense but still bearable. I went to bed that night and they somewhat subsided but were replaced for extremely bad cramping. I cramped and had strong braxton hicks (or so I thought) all night Saturday and all through Sunday and Sunday night. I finally decided I would go to the Dr. on Monday just to be sure everything was okay. The Dr. walked in the room didn't even ask what has been going on he just told me to lay down, he checked me and said,I"ll meet you at the hospital in an hour, today is your day!" I was both surprised and I was also a little bit suspecting it. We got Allie all settled at Lindsay's, got Jordan and I all packed and we were at the hospital at 12:30 pm. I had a little bit of an infection so they had to try and hold off labor until 5:00 pm so they could get the antibiotics in me before the baby arrived. Jordan and I just hung out, watched TV, read, we actually had a good time. At 5:00 pm the Dr. broke my water and at 9:58 pm London Anne Marsden was welcomed into our family. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 11 oz. and was 18 and 3/4 in. long. She is a little toe head as you can see and is such a good baby so far. Although the labor hurt it was really pretty easy. I can't complain about a 5 hour labor!

Allie loves her sister and is so good and gentle with her. She loves to kiss and hug her and she especially loves to lay next to her. I am trying to cherish every moment with London being a newborn because I know how terribly fast it goes by. We are so incredible lucky to have my Mom here taking care of us until early Monday morning. It will be so scary to be left alone with 2 kids, whatever will I do when she isn't here to take care of us!?

Well keep checking back often, I will do my best to keep updating often. Hope all is well with everyone. Us!

I have to tell you when I heard you were in labor- I totally freaked out because our due dates were so close and I wasn't anywhere ready. (I'm almost there though) Anyways London is beautiful and Allie sure looks like she is enjoying being a big sister! Congrats to you and your family of now 4!

I finally started a blog- so hopefully in the next few weeks here I can share some of the newest Galant family news with you. Hope you're getting enough rest- take care! ~Emily
