A loooooonnnnnnnnggggggg night...

So I have to admit that this past week I have found myself thinking a couple of times, "2 kids is really not that hard." I was proven wrong last night!

London decided after basically sleeping for 2 days straight that it was time to be awake, ALL NIGHT!!! I got cumulatively almost 3 hours of sleep, go me! And for the first time in like a month Allie so far has slept in. It is 7:47 and she is still snoozing, which is good EXCEPT, this means that her nap won't be until 1pm, can I keep my eyes open that long? London has finally decided she is tired and has now retired to bed (I'm sure for the day so that we can repeat the routine tonight!).

You may ask, "If both of your kids are asleep why are you wasting your time blogging so early?" Let me tell you, the second my head hits the pillow, whenever that may be I fear that I will not wake up for a long time! I don't think I will hear Allie and even if I do I don't think I will be able to physically get up to get her. So for now I am doing anything I can to keep myself up so I can be with Allie when she wakes up!

Oh the joys! I guess it comes with the territory of being a mother to a newborn. I still love both of them to pieces and let's just hope for every one's sake that I get a nap today!

Annie you are so tough!! Go you for making it through the night! I hope I can have that kind of stamina when it's my turn to have babies =)

The beginning is always so hard, I forget how much I love to sleep until a new born comes! At least it doesn't last forever!! Hang in there, and enjoy this stage as much as possible, I wish I could always have a newborn, minus the sleep deprivation, they are so heavenly!! I love all the pictures. She is a beauty.

Congrats on your beautiful baby girl! we just got back yesterday and I turned the computer on first thing to see if you'd had her. She is so darling. it's a big adjustment having two. It's hard for awhile, but you'll get a routine and it will be fun. good luck and try to get in as much sleep as you can!
