Sorry to my faithful readers, it's been awhile, longer than usual. There is nothing worse than checking someones blog day after day to find no updated post, how frustrating!
Last Friday Allie woke up with a little bit of a runny nose, no big deal, right!? Well by about 2 pm that day she was sounding like a seal and I could hear her breathing from the other room. Turns out she had a croupy cough and fevered for 5 days straight, poor girl! She "slept" with us every night for 5 nights and didn't nap longer than 45 minutes a day. Ahhhh!
I got the same cold except much milder on Sunday afternoon. So all in all that's where we have been, next to a box of tissue on the couch, NOT sleeping! I have never been so relieved to get over a cold as this last one, it was a nightmare. It's not enough that I am big and fat and can barely breath anyway because of a baby up in my ribs but to add to it a terrible cold! Yuck!
So this morning I got a call from a friend of mine to all meet for lunch at another friends house who had just had surgery and was in need of some company. Seeing as Allie and I have been out of the house a whole one time this past week I was SOOOOO excited to have something to do and some fun company. Everyone searched their kitchens and brought something to share and we had such a good lunch, it's amazing what we came up with a just a few hours. Allie and I made cupcakes and Allie LOVED every minute of making and eating them. After they were all done I set her up on the counter to put her shoes on and she quickly made it over to the cupcakes to see how they turned out. I grabbed my camera to get a picture of her "admiring" her work and right as I clicked she dove into one, priceless! The last picture is terrible and blurry but it is her finally getting to enjoy her work and have a cupcake, too cute!
Now that we are on the tail end of our sickness hopefully I can be a better blogger again....And holy cow can you believe I only have 45 days left of this pregnancy? This has flown by, I better get my booty into gear and start preparing!

When I talked to you last and you said you had a cold, I just thought oh, a little cold...I had no Idea it had been so bad. Bummer! I'm glad you guys are feeling better now. I think I need to make cupcakes tonight, those look so good!

Hey, I'm sorry you guys were so sick. Jack was in the hospital last year for 5 days with the croup. it was horrible. glad you are better!
