What's for Dinner...?

So I have been trying to get my grocery list together this morning and am having total problems. I am so sick of everything I make. You know, you get in this slump and you make the same things over and over again. I don't know, maybe it's just me. Anyway, I had this idea...I am going to leave it up to you to tell me what's for dinner. I will make each recipe that you all send me and try them all out. After we have tried them all I will pick our one favorite and will send you a prize. I'm not sure what the prize will be yet (I guess it depends on how good your recipe is:) ) but it will be a good one. If you prefer to e-mail me your recipe feel free, just be sure to leave the name of the recipe in a comment. If you can have all the recipes to me by Sunday then I can only go to the grocery store once and get all my ingredients and try them on in the next week or two. Good Luck!
Disclaimer: Remember I cook for a one year old, a pregnant woman who hates tomato's (although I love tomato products i.e. marinara sauces, ketchup, tomato soup, anything) and celery. I am also not a huge meat eater, I eat meat just not tons all at once! And no worries with Jordan he eats ANYTHING!!!

We had raviolis, which is EASY, cheap, and YUMMY! Both of the girls always eat it all gone. I put itallian sausage in my sauce and I buy the frozen 5 cheese ravilois at Vons. They take like 3 min to cook in boiling water. Along with garlic cheese bread, and salad, that is always a winner in our house!

So in the winter I get a really big soup-bug happening. So here's our favorite:

Potato Chesse Soup

4 med. potatoes, diced
1 lg. onion, chopped
4 cups water
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups shredded chesse (we use cheddar)
4 Tbs. flour
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. seasoning salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. pepper
chopped chives

Boil potatoes and onion in water. Simmer until tender. Add butter. Mix milk and flour with a wire whisk. Pour in and heat until thickened. Add cheese and cook to milt. Add seasonings and garnish with chives.

(I've also made it with new pototoes. Corn is a great addition to it as well. If Jordan demands meat-like Lance usually does- you can crumble bacon on the top)

ENJOY!!
