It's been super cold here. Check out this icicle Jordan found. It's over 8 feet tall, crazy! Last night it was -18 degrees, yes you read that right, NEGATIVE 18 with a windchill of -40! How crazy is that!? Right now as I type it has warmed up to -3 with a wind chill of -27 and it's almost 12 noon. The high for today is 12 but I'll be surprised if it gets there. We let out cats come inside last night because of the cold so my family should be happy about that. School here has been cancelled the last 2 days, yesterday because we were snowed in and today because of the crazy cold.
Actually on Sunday the bishop sent everyone home from church an hour early because the snow had started to blow, that's always exciting. We had a really nice Sunday afternoon inside our warm home in our sweats just hanging out the 3 of us. We were also so excited to wake up on Monday morning to see that we were still snowed in so the fun could continue. I love snow days, not COLD days. These temperatures are just too cold for me and they make me nervous for some reason. If you are somewhere warm enjoy it for us. I am getting really anxious for the spring, I guess that's where the term "spring fever" came from. I can't wait until I can take Allie for walks and to the park!

WOW!! Drink lots of hot chocolate!! Yummy!
man i wish that would happen here!!!!!!!!the only reason school gets cancelled here is for fires and church is never cancelled!!!!!
oh, that makes me cold just reading your blog!!
I'm so happy for the cats, but on the other hand I would love to see Jordan holding up a frozen cat by the tail like a lolly pop, kidding LOL... I've always felt like the weather, earthquakes and the like are so totally out of our control that there is a reason to be a little scared. You've got a good husband so if anyone is safe you two are.
