Happy 18 Months Allie!

I can't believe it's come but Allie is already 18 months. It still feels like I just found out I was pregnant with her yet at the same time I can't remember what life was like without this little joy in our home. She is so much fun to have around and I wouldn't want life any other way than with her in it. She is still a tiny little thing, she has her 18 month well baby next week so we will find out exactly how tiny then. I had her weighed about 3 weeks ago and she was almost 20 lbs. (which would be about -5% on the growth chart!)
Allie is such a good little girl (almost all the time!). She is really good at keeping herself entertained, which I hear not all kids do. I am grateful for that! Allie is really into:
1. Playhouse Disney in the morning. Watching, Handy Manny, Doodlebops, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Backyardigans. She is a couch potato all morning long.
2. She just recently decided she liked milk, only it has to have the strawberry mix in it, which is fine with me as long as she is getting some calcium. She also loves apple juice.
3. Her favorite foods are cheese, ramen noodles and macaroni and cheese.
4. She is still the worlds best sleeper as long as she has her "nigh-night." She sleeps from 8 pm-7:30 am and naps from 10:30 am-11:45 am and about 3:30 pm- 4:30 pm. I love that! I get two breaks a day. It's been a lifesaver while pregnant.
5. She loves, loves, loves her baby and takes such good care of her. She kisses her and loves her all the time. She even takes her on tractor rides and sings to her.
6. She loves toy tractors and real tractors. The best part of a snowy day is getting to go out and blow snow with Daddy on his tractor.
7. She loves to look at books and be read too. She is already a genius!

There is so much more and I could go on forever but I won't do that. This Sunday we will attempt nursery again at church, hopefully it will go better than last! We love Allie so much and feel so blessed to have another little one on the way and would be so lucky if it was even half as perfect as Allie. Happy 18 Months Allie!
